Lynne’s Divine Inspirations began with a simple belief: encouragement can meet people in ordinary moments and make a meaningful difference. What began through faith, writing, and a desire to uplift others has grown into a purpose-driven brand offering inspirational books, thoughtfully curated gifts, meaningful resources, and daily encouragement for people in every season of life.

Founded by Candis Dorsey, Lynne’s Divine Inspirations was shaped through a personal journey of faith, healing, growth, and rediscovery. During seasons when encouragement was deeply needed, God’s Word and the power of meaningful words became a source of strength. That experience eventually became a calling to create something that could offer that same encouragement to others.

The name “Lynne” carries meaning beyond the brand itself. Drawn from Candis’s middle name and associated with light, it reflects the heart of Lynne’s Divine Inspirations: to be a source of encouragement, hope, and gentle light in the lives of others.

The business is also rooted in legacy, inspired by strong women, entrepreneurial spirit, faith, and the belief that what we build can positively impact the people who come after us. From Pittsburgh to customers and community members beyond it, Lynne’s continues to grow with one guiding intention: to create and curate things that leave people a little more encouraged than when they arrived.
